“When you’re a kid, they tell you it’s all… Grow up, get a job, get married, get a house, have a kid, and that’s it. But the truth is, the world is so much stranger than that. It’s so much darker. And so much madder. And so much better.” It’s actually Elton Pope who says this, you know, this guy:
But I think it is quite accurate for Matt Smith as the eleventh Doctor. Some people blame him for being childish and young stuff like that. I think that is great. He shows us that life is so much more than just growing up. If you spend your time trying to become an adult, you miss all the great things around you. Matt’s Doctor appreciates all the things we used to appreciate as children, but because we’re all grown up now, we don’t like them anymore. That’s a pity, because life would be so much better when we learn to appreciate the little things in life again. That’s why I like Matt Smith so much, for showing how great normal life can be, with bowties, fezzes and balloons around us.
